Traverse Outlets is seeking an individual who is detail-oriented, safety minded, takes pride in a strong work ethic, and enjoys working among the general public - our shoppers. Security Officers will patrol the grounds and buildings of the Shopping Center. Performs a variety of tasks while working under general supervision. Reports any suspicious activity and maintains a security and safety presence while completing walking and driving patrols. Duties include assisting other team members with special projects, as needed. A friendly, customer service oriented skill set is expected working among the public and with other staff.

Wage $18.50/HR. Paid time off benefits; medical, dental, vision benefits (Option to enroll). 401K Plan and FSA Plan (Option to enroll).

Weekly Schedule:

• Monday-Tuesday 3PM-11PM; OFF Wednesday-Thursday; Friday 12PM-8:30PM; SAT-SUN 8AM-4:30PM.

Must be at least 21 years old with 3 years driving experience and a valid driver license.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Protect the property both on foot and by vehicle, being visible and observant at all times.
• Maintain the security cellular phone and professionally respond to all calls for service within the Center.
• Ensure the safety, comfort and satisfaction of the shopping public by always exhibiting a professional and helpful attitude.
• Ensure critical areas of the property are monitored.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all security operations, policies and procedures.
• Document security activity using appropriate corporate and center security forms, always ensuring the work product is concise, accurate, and thorough.
• Assist the Security Supervisor and Security Director in implementing the center's Security work plan; assigned work activities, projects and programs.
• Perform all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards.
• Comply with all Corporate and Security policies and procedures that pertain to the Center.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with store managers and employees on an on going basis to enhance the security and safety of all employees and the general public.
• Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.
